Tongva: Name of the Native Americans relative to Los Angeles.
Ande: Spirit in Swedish.
Swedish born artist Andre, and Persephenie’s fascination of beauty, primitive cultures, scent,
medicine, early pioneer settlers, Native American spirit, and transitional history inspired an amalgam
of adornments made from nature and collectible artifacts.
Tongva Ande is a collaborative series of one-of-a-kind pieces and modern day medicine necklaces
made from unusual vintage finds, shed reindeer antler, petrified tusk, hand-made rose petal beads,
free running leather (not farmed), gold, silver, macrame, and/or gemstones.
Each composition is lovingly named and made embracing life, spirit, and beauty.
